/ work info

This is a sculptural model where the overview is lost and the spectator only can imagine the rest of the space outside the field of vision.

The location presented is the former Corbis (Getty acquired Corbis in 2016) Film Preservation Facility, located in the Iron Mountain National Underground Storage Facility, a former limestone mine near Pennsylvania, USA. The 10 000 square-foot facility houses over 13 million photographic negatives, engravings and prints. The optimal storage conditions (below zero degrees and low humidity) will ensure that the historically valuable collection will last hundreds of years, currently all filed and managed under the copyrights of Getty Images.
