The image in the book depicts Mies Van der Rohe's famous Lake Shore Drive buildings in Chicago. In its right upper corner a burn mark, like the one from a cigarette, creates what could be seen as a dark sun, a solar eclipse. The hole in the book seems bottomless, as if behind this very image a true void is opening up.
