/ work info
The motion picture The Philadelphia Experiment is a dramatization of a legendary conspiracy theory where, allegedly, the US Navy conducted an experiment in which a battleship was momentarily rendered invisible. According to the American government, the experiment never took place. Over time, interest in the incident, and the conspiracy theories that surround it, have faded. The work brings together the conspiracy theorists’ improbable conception of reality with the videocassette’s unstable and unfocused state.
